Pasta in a Bag??? Never seen before

Above the trees:

This blog is about day 2 of the IB Building Trip. If you haven't read the first blog yet, feel free to go to the link 'IBPostsandUpdates' which will take you directly there.

On the following day, September 14, 2022, we visited 'Beyond the trees' in Avondale forest park. This is the first treetop walk and lookout tower in Ireland. It also has a total height of 38 meters and you have a view of the Wicklow Mountains. ( source: https://visitwicklow.ie/listing/avondale-house-forest-park/ )

But to get to the lookout tower, we first had to walk along a wooden walkway that leads through the forest. On the side of the wooden path there are information boards that provide information about the lookout tower, as well as different species of trees and animals that live in the forest.

As we reached the lookout tower, I immediately noticed the silver slide, which is located inside the structure. In order to use the slide, you have to pay 2 euros, which, in my opinion, is completely worth it. With the excitement of sliding down the slide, we hurried up to the top. But before we used the slide, we enjoyed the view of the Wicklow Mountains. And YES, now comes the part where I can say we slid down , which was a lot of fun.

Before we left the place, we ate our packed lunch, which we prepared ourselves in the morning. But it was not a normal sandwich, in fact, it was pasta from the bag. Which I can only warmly recommend to you and the preparation comes without effort.

In case someone does not know how to prepare pasta in a bag... here is the recipe

Ingredients :

- noodles

- pesto

- bag

- optional take cutlery

1) First, boil water in a pot and add a pinch of salt to the water.

2) Now carefully add the noodles to the boiling water, the quantity depends on your needs.

3) Once the noodles are soft, you can pour away the water, leaving only the noodles in the pot.

4) Mix the pasta well with the pesto.

5) . . . And Voila the pasta can now be served in the bag !
